As a medical massage therapist I am here to provide support in the client's healing process and educate them to the current prevalent theories on what is happening with their muscles. If a condition is alterable and that is their goal, then we will work to their comfort levels, and sometimes beyond, to reach those goals. I try to use the tools that are most appropriate to the conditions, which means sometimes I may be incredibly light and sometimes it will feel like I am bone deep. We are going to work at the source first, then reconnect the area, the body and the mind as harmoniously as possible.

Jana Kearns, LMP
2008 Cortiva Institute of Seattle graduate.
I feel it hard to describe the type of massage I give; having never felt or experienced it, however I will try.
I feel the best description I can offer is: Basic Swedish-Style with a Deeper Therapeutic Intent. What I mean by this is I perform basic Swedish Massage and work deeper in specific areas of complaint, but try to touch on everything.
I also have learned and enjoy Reflexology, so I have been known to work a little more detailed in the hands and feet-if requested and if time allows.
